Jotform Integration

Beta

Webhook-based verification with optional write-back

Connect Jotform with an API key and pick your forms: every submission's email is verified as it arrives, the status can be written into a field of the submission, and the result is sent to you as an email.verified webhook event (data.source = "jotform").

Not listed in Jotform's integrations directory. Connect from the RocketVerifier dashboard (Integrations → Jotform); Jotform uses API keys, so no app install is needed.

Real-time Checks (RocketShield)

  • Embedded with "Source code" (the full HTML pasted into your page): the inputs are part of your page, so the RocketShield embed protects them like any other form. Add your domain to the shield's allowed domains.
  • iframe / script embeds and jotform.com links run on Jotform's domain, where the widget cannot reach the form. Use the webhook flow below.

Jotform Connector

Beta

Server-side verification of submissions. Act on results with the email.verified webhook, or use the optional status field to filter submissions and drive Jotform conditions and notifications.

How to Connect

1

In Jotform open Settings → API → Create New Key (Full Access if you want write-back, otherwise Read Access).

2

In RocketVerifier open Dashboard → Integrations → Jotform, paste the credentials below (the key and your region) and click Connect. They are validated against the platform before anything is saved.

3

Pick the forms to watch. RocketVerifier registers a webhook on each one.

FieldRequiredWhere to find it
API keyRequiredJotform → Settings → API.
RegionRequiredus (api.jotform.com), eu (eu-api.jotform.com) or hipaa (hipaa-api.jotform.com).

Credentials are stored encrypted and are only ever sent to the platform's own API hosts.

What It Syncs

Sources

Any form.

Incremental syncs

Submissions created since the last sync.

Schedules & Credits

  • Schedule: Manual only, Daily, Weekly or Monthly. Each run syncs the source chosen in the settings; Sync now starts one immediately. Only one sync runs per integration at a time.
  • Mode: Full re-checks every contact in the source except those verified in the last N days (default 30, 0-365); Incremental only checks contacts changed since the last sync.
  • Each sync creates a regular verification job: 1 credit per unique address, and unknown results are refunded when it completes. If the balance is too low the sync stops with insufficient_credits before anything is charged.
  • Results are written back when the job completes; the sync history in the dashboard shows updated, failed and skipped counts per run.

Write-back

Fields ("Write status fields")

  • The status question you choose (optional)

Add a Short Text question (for example "Email status", hidden) and set it as the form's status field in the integration settings; it is filled with deliverable / undeliverable / risky / unknown.

Status values are deliverable, undeliverable, risky and unknown (disposable addresses are undeliverable, catch-all addresses unknown). Sub-status is a sub_status value (none when there is no extra detail), score is 0-100 and verified-at is an ISO 8601 UTC timestamp.

Auto-verify New Contacts

On by default for Jotform. Jotform does not sign webhooks, so the registered URL carries a random per-integration token and the submission is re-read from the API by its id; the webhook body is never trusted. Each result is also sent as an email.verified event with data.source = "jotform".

Every new contact costs 1 credit. Addresses this integration verified in the last 30 days are skipped, and webhook events are de-duplicated for 24 hours, so platform retries never charge twice.

Beta: the Jotform connector is new. Sync reports list every contact that could not be updated; please tell us if something looks wrong.
