Webflow Integration

Beta

RocketShield embed + form submission connector

The RocketShield embed checks every email field on your site while visitors type and blocks bad addresses before the form is submitted. The Webflow connector verifies every submitted address server-side, including submissions that skip the widget (JavaScript disabled, bots posting directly), and sends the result to you as an email.verified webhook.

No Webflow Marketplace listing. The embed is copy and paste; the connector is connected from the RocketVerifier dashboard (Integrations → Webflow).

RocketShield Embed

1

Create a shield

RocketVerifier dashboard → RocketShield: create a shield, choose its rules and message, and add your-site.webflow.io and your custom domain(s) to Allowed domains. Copy the public rs_... key.

2

Paste the embed

Webflow → Site settings → Custom code → Footer code (every page), or a page's Before </body> tag code (one page). Custom code needs a paid site plan or a Workspace plan that includes it.

3

Publish and test

Custom code does not run in the Designer, so test on the published site.

Footer code
<script>
  window.rocketShieldConfig = {
    apikey: "rs_REPLACE_WITH_YOUR_SHIELD_KEY",
    platform: "webflow"
  };
</script>
<script src="https://app.rocketverifier.com/widget/v2.js" async></script>

The widget attaches to every input[type=email], and Webflow's Email form field already renders as one. To protect a plain text input, add the custom attribute data-rocketshield. The same two lines work on any site (headless storefronts, Jotform source-code embeds); see RocketShield for every option.

Webflow Connector

Beta

Server-side verification of Webflow form submissions. Submissions cannot be edited, so act on the email.verified event (data.source = "webflow"), for example from Zapier, Make or n8n.

How to Connect

1

In RocketVerifier open Dashboard → Integrations → Webflow and click Connect. You are sent to Webflow to approve access, then back to the dashboard. Alternatively paste a Webflow site API token.

2

Pick the forms to watch. RocketVerifier registers a form_submission webhook on the site.

FieldRequiredWhere to find it
Site API token (instead of OAuth)OptionalA site API token generated in the Webflow site settings.

Tokens are stored encrypted and, where the platform issues expiring tokens, refreshed automatically. If access is revoked the integration is marked as needing re-authorization; reconnect it from the dashboard.

What It Syncs

Sources

The forms of every site you authorize.

Incremental syncs

Submissions since the last sync.

Schedules & Credits

  • Schedule: Manual only, Daily, Weekly or Monthly. Each run syncs the source chosen in the settings; Sync now starts one immediately. Only one sync runs per integration at a time.
  • Mode: Full re-checks every contact in the source except those verified in the last N days (default 30, 0-365); Incremental only checks contacts changed since the last sync.
  • Each sync creates a regular verification job: 1 credit per unique address, and unknown results are refunded when it completes. If the balance is too low the sync stops with insufficient_credits before anything is charged.
  • Results are written back when the job completes; the sync history in the dashboard shows updated, failed and skipped counts per run.

Write-back

Webflow submissions cannot be edited, so nothing is written back. Each result is sent as an email.verified webhook event with data.source = "webflow".

Auto-verify New Contacts

On by default for Webflow. Deliveries are signed (x-webflow-signature, HMAC-SHA256 of timestamp:body) and older than 5 minutes are rejected.

Every new contact costs 1 credit. Addresses this integration verified in the last 30 days are skipped, and webhook events are de-duplicated for 24 hours, so platform retries never charge twice.

Beta: the Webflow connector is new. Sync reports list every contact that could not be updated; please tell us if something looks wrong.
